No. The tour is a comedy performance and is strictly for ages 16 and over, there are some adult themes and jokes and bad language is basically Scottish punctuation marks
How long does the tour last? |
Two hours approx
Will the tour go ahead in adverse weather conditions? |
Absolutely, I wouldn't have a business if not! This is Scotland you should be prepared for inclement weather regardless of the time of year.
Is there a maximum number you can take on a tour? |
Tours book up frequently, to avoid disappointment make sure you book online prior to your arrival. Normally I won't take more than 20 in a group
If I need to cancel am I entitled to a refund? |
If you cancel 48 hours before your departure time you will receive a full refund (please note this differs for those who book via Tripadvisor/Viator in that case their own cancellation policies apply) Also note for private tours or bookings over 8 persons this may differ
Can I consume or purchase alcohol during the tour? |
Not while we are on the streets.

If hearing the funny side of Scottish history is your thing then absolutely. Bear in mind however it is two hours you're going to have to go without a jaegerbomb and drunk, abusive, or disruptive guests will be refused entry on the tour
Is the tour wheelchair accessible? |
Edinburgh is a medieval city built on a dormant volcano this means we will be climbing up steep hills and steps, however there are always alternate routes I can take to ensure everyone can access and enjoy the tour. Where possible please get in touch and make me aware of any accessibility issues you have before you arrive on your tour
I am an arseshole, am I welcome on the tour? |
We operate a strict 'no areshole' rule at Mountebank, sorry
